16 days of snowy road trip in the heart of the austral winter.
10 Countries to be crossed on small roads and without GPS.
7.500KM of tracks in full autonomy behind the wheel of an old-timer.
The Baltic Sea Circle Winter
One of the most demanding rallies for participants and their cars.
Each team taking the start supports a cause dear to them.
The rally is organized by Superlative Adventure Club, an association based in Hamburg. (for more information click on the logo below)
The trip is certified CO2 neutral by CO2logic and VINCOTTE
Thomas and Tanguy have decided to assume responsibility for the environmental impact of their adventure.
The entire kilometers travelled with the Panda will be compensated through the CO2logic program certified by Vinçotte.

About us
Thomas and Tanguy are inseparable and complementary cousins since their early childhood.
They also became brothers-in-law through life’s chance!
1 Common project
With time, an enormous desire to do "something" together arose, and the desire to inscribe this "something" in the memory of Ines, their sister-in-law, who unfortunately died too soon in 2004 from neurofibromatosis, quickly imposed itself.
1 1997 Fiat Panda 4X4
Following a previous trip to the Pyrenees they fell under the spell of the Fiat Panda 4X4 and promised to take it to do that "something" with them.
Neurofibromatosis
Inès, the sister-in-law of Thomas and Tanguy died at the age of 24 from Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF): a hereditary disorder affecting approximately 1 in 2,500 newborns.
Children with NF usually face severe learning difficulties. As adults, most of them suffer from small nerve tumors called neurofibromas.
As they grow or become more deeply embedded, neurofibromas can become malignant. They are to this day still exceedingly difficult to treat.
It is therefore crucial for scientists to continue research on the development and anchoring phases of these neurofibromas.
The team of Professor Legius
The team of Professor Eric Legius at the KU Leuven focuses its research work exclusively on the fight against Neurofibromatosis.
Internationally renowned, the team's researchers have already distinguished themselves on several occasions, notably with the publication of revolutionary progress in understanding the development of neurofibromas.
Thanks to the support of the Ines Costa Foundation, they are able to deepen their field of research with the ambition of producing tangible results in terms of treatments.
The Inès Costa Fund was initiated by André (†) and Jacqueline, Inès' parents and by the patient association "NF Kontakt" who have been working with the professor for more than 25 years.
